The symposium will bring together academics from countries across a spectrum of economic and social development and with a variety of types of public housing provision. It aims to provide a forum for a discussion of different experiences of public housing development, an evaluation of privatization and post-privatization policies and for a considered and contextualized debate on the possible futures for public housing.
