Technical Visit to EMSD Headquarters
A group of 30 members from both CIH(APB) and HKIH conducted a technical visit to EMSD Headquarters in Kowloon Bay. The group was received and briefed by Mr. Simon CHAN, Engineer of EMSD, on the highly innovative E & M building services installations used by the Building and which contribute to environmental protection and energy saving. After the briefing, a visit was made to some E & M plant rooms, exhibition galleries on the ground floor and seventh floor and the viewing gallery at the rooftop.
The visit was very informative and members learned a valuable lesson on the up-to-date and state of art environmental friendly and energy saving E & M service installations in modern buildings.
