Safety Day
Upon the invitation of the Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS), Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch (CIH APB) participated in the “Safety Day” held by HKHS in Prosperous Garden to promote the importance of occupational safety for property management professionals on 20 May 2006.
The opening ceremony was officiated by the Executive Director of HKHS, Miss L C Wong, General Manager (Property Management) of HKHS, Mr. Ricky Yuen and the Executive Director of Occupational Safety and Health Council, Mr. W S Tang. Thereafter, a series of competitions and activities were held to promote the importance of occupational safety. CIH APB set up a booth there to promote the Institute and it was well received by the participants. The event was successfully held and over one thousand housing management professionals and public attended the activity.
