Taiwan「公部門物業委外經營管理研究」Study Group Visit to Hong Kong
The Economic Construction Committee of the Ministry of Administration of the Taiwan Government(台灣政府行政院經濟建設委員會) has commissioned the Taiwan Hua Hsa Institute of Technology (The Institute) to conduct a research study on "Privatization of Building Management Function of Taiwan Public Housing and Properties".
Through the liaison of the Property Managers Association of ROC, the Institute has approached Asian Pacific Branch to make necessary arrangement for official visits to public and private housing bodies in HK.
The Study Group, comprising a panel of 7 senior academics from the Institute, arrived at Hong Kong on 4/9/2006 and immediately started their busy visit programmes. They visited the Guardian Group, the ISS EastPoint Facility Services Limited, the City University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Housing Society and the Hong Kong Housing Authority Exhibition Centre.
The Executive Committee of Asian Pacific Branch hosted a dinner for the visitors on 4/9/2006 and shared with the guests the problems and challenges arising from privatization of housing management and the recent trend of property management in Hong Kong.
