The Institute attended the visit to Macao organised by the Hong Kong Professional Property Services Alliance on Monday 4 May 2007. The delegation was graced by the presence of Dr. Chiang Coc Meng, Director of Macao Housing Bureau and other officials of the Bureau in the morning. At the meeting, the present housing situation in Macao and the latest development on property management were conveyed by the Macao housing officials to the delegation. A visit was paid to a public housing scheme after the meeting. The Alliance has also visited the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute and Land, Public Works and Transport Bureau in the afternoon. A dinner was held by the Alliance to entertain key members of the Property Management Business Association Macao aiming to foster closer ties between practitioners of Hong Kong and Macao.
