The 2008 Annual General Meeting was held at City Chinese Restaurant of City University of Hong Kong on 15 January 2009 evening. The Annual General Meeting was well attended by 32 members in person. The meeting confirmed the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 18 February 08 and received the Chairman’s Report and Financial Statement of the Hon. Treasurer. The meeting also passed a resolution to thank the Past Chairman, Mr Victor Chow for his remarkable contribution to CIHAPB during his term of services.

During the AGM, Mr Victor Chau and Mr Sanford Poon also presented souvenir to 20 long services Executive and sub-committee members to recognize their remarkable contribution to CIHAPB.

All the nominees for officer posts and members of the Executive Committee were automatically elected in the AGM because of single nomination. They are:

11. Mr Ho Chun Nin, Edwin - member
12. Dr Yip Ngai Ming – member

The 1st Meeting of the Executive Committee held right after the AGM on 15 January 2009, and 12 members were co-opted to the Executive Committee as Co-opted Members. In the meeting, the Executive Committee also passed a resolution to appoint past Chairlady Mrs Julia Wong as Hon Advisor.
