Accompanied by Mr Paul Ng, Education and Training Officer and Mr H N Wong, General Manager (Professional Development) of CIHAPB, in late May 09, Mr Roger Keller, Head of Education of CIH, went to Taiwan validating a Property Management degree course of Hwa Hsia Institute of Technology (HHIT). Dr Rebecca Chiu of Hong Kong University served as the academic advisor of the exercise.

Upon arrival, the validation team conducted a thorough examination on the material submitted by HHIT including the course content and structure; and met with the President, Professors, and students of the Institute and also the representatives of the industry discussing the issue. Furthermore, the team visited the campus of HHIT understanding the teaching and amenities facilities overthere. After detail examination, members confirmed that the course content, structure and material met with the requirements of CIH and highly praised the efforts made by HHIT in launching the programme.

The programme is the first Property Management Degree Course accredited by CIH in Taiwan. It is believed that the programme would enhance the professionalism of the industry and benefit the long term development of property management industry in Taiwan.
