In order to provide a better service to members in Taiwan, Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch (CIHAPB) has formally established a Liaison Office in Taipei, Taiwan, on 24 September 2010.

Opening Ceremony of the Liaison Office was officiated by Professor Paddy Gray, President of Chartered Institute of Housing, Dr W F Yen, President of Hwa Hsia Institute of Technology, Mr Sanford Poon, Chairman of Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch, Dr Chen Jiann Mou, Associate Professor and Manage of Curriculum Section of Hwa Hsia Institute of Technology, Dr Ricky Yuen and Mr Victor Chow, Past Chairmen of CIHAPB, Mr H N Wong, General Manager of CIHAPB and other distinguished guests. The functions of the Liaison Office are:

1. a) To provide preliminary enquiry services to members in Taiwan;
2. b) To collect membership fees from the members in Taiwan;
3. c) To act as a coordinator to liaise with members in Taiwan on Branch related affairs and activities; and
4. d) To coordinate and assist members organizing activities in Taiwan.

Although the Liaison Office is established mainly to coordinate CIHAPB members in Taiwan and to provide preliminary enquiry services, members are welcomed to contact the Secretariat of CIHAPB in Hong Kong directly on Branch activities and member services. The Branch would like to thank Hwa Hsia Institute of Technology to render assistance in providing facilities as Liaison Office in the Institute.
