On 16 November 2010, Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch (CIHAPB), co-organized with CB Richard Ellis and Shenzhen Hongkong and Macau Energy-saving and Emission-reduction Forum Committee, held a "Green Management and Sustainable Development Forum" at Golden Business Centre, Shenzhen.

Distinguished speakers such as Professor Paddy Gray, President of Chartered Institute of Housing; Mr Larry Hui, Vice President of Vanke Enterprise Corporation Ltd; Dr Richie Lee, Executive Director - Energy and Sustainability of Asia, CB Richard Ellis; and Dr Yang Bo, Professor of Environment Department, Shenzhen University. There were over 300 participants which included CIHAPB Executive Committee Member led by Chairman Mr Sanford Poon and other members / practitioners from Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau.

The event was also part of Professor Paddy Gray’s itinerary during his visit to the CIHAPB. The President also visited Galaxy Centre, a Grade A office building at CBD of Futian, Shenzhen. It is worth mentioned that the CIH had validated housing management degree course at Wuhan University, Wuhan, few years ago. Three graduates namely Gongman, Baiming and Weiwei are hired by CB Richard Ellis and posted at projects in Shenzhen. They expressed that they were delighted and honored to receive the President and learned a lot of practical experience during his visit at Galaxy Centre.
