A brain storming session was held on 19 February 2011 (Saturday) at Royal View Hotel, Ting Kau. At this session, the new Branch Executive Committee, led by the Chairman, Mr. Cliff Wong, reviewed strategies for development.

The work of the Branch in the coming year will focus in the Asia Pacific region with emphasis on Mainland China, Taiwan and Macao. This year, the Branch aims at fostering stronger ties with counterparts and government officials within these areas to promote professionalism of housing management, and will continue providing our views to Hong Kong Government on licensing of the housing professionals and housing companies in Hong Kong. Furthermore, the Branch will strengthen the services provided to its members and to keep them abreast of the current development of housing management in the region, and to uphold the code of professional conduct of its members.

In the meeting, Executive Committee also discussed the change of membership structure and title of the members which will be announced later this year; and the introduction of Continuous Professional Development Program (CPD) for members of CIHAPB.

Chairpersons of all committees of the Branch submitted their business plans and budgets to the Executive Committee for endorsement. After in-depth discussion, the Executive Committee approved the business plans of the Committees and adopted the work arrangement of the Branch for 2011.
