Event Details: 2012 Branch Executive Committee Brain Storming Session

The 2012 Brain Storming session was held on 14 January 2012 (Saturday) at Hong Kong Housing Society Regional Office, Dragon Centre, Tai Hang. At this session, the new Branch Executive Committee, led by the Chairman, Mr. Cliff Wong, reviewed strategies for development.


Same as last year, the work of the Branch will focus in the Asia Pacific region with emphasis in Mainland China, Taiwan and Macau. The Branch aims at fostering stronger ties with counterparts and government officials in these areas to promote professionalism of housing management, and will continue providing our views to Hong Kong Government on licensing of the housing professionals and housing companies in Hong Kong. Furthermore, the Branch will keep on expending its membership in Mainland China, Taiwan and Macau, and will strengthen the services provided to its members both in Hong Kong and in Asia Pacific Region.


In the meeting, Executive Committee also discussed the change of membership structure and title of its members with effect from 2012; and the introduction of Continuous Professional Development Program (CPD) for members of CIHAPB.


Chairpersons of all committees of the Branch submitted their business plans and budgets to the Executive Committee for endorsement. After in-depth discussion, the Executive Committee approved the business plans of the Committees and adopted the work arrangement of the Branch for 2012.
