Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch (CIHAPB), The Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies (HKAPMC), The Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management (HKIFM), The Hong Kong Institute of Housing (HKIH), The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS), Housing Managers Registration Board (HMRB), and The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Hong Kong Board (RICS Hong Kong Board) jointly organized a forum on the public consultation of the Property Management Services Ordinance (PMSO) that was launched by the Property Management Services Authority (PMSA) in November 2018.

Panel of the forum reported the joint actions taken during 2014 to 2018 in facilitating the development of PMSO and also highlighted those major concerns on the licensing regime of Property Management Companies (PMC) and Property Management Practitioners (PMP) as stated in the recent consultation paper of PMSO to 300 members of professional bodies.

Our members well received the major concerns and shared their views in the forum. Panel of the forum encouraged members to express their views by returning the reply form to PMSA on before the consultation deadline on 18 January 2019.
