CIHAPB conducted a study tour to Taiwan from 4 April 2019 to 7 April 2019. 15 members from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau arrived Taoyuan International Airport at 11am and went to Novotel Taipei Taoyuan International Airport to enjoy the traditional noodles with beef for lunch. Members went to Banmu which is a green building project, there are numbers of energy saving and emission reduction designs. Ruo Shan Community is one of the major projects of this visit.


Members also visited Huan Services Residences. 1st Floor to 4th Floor is hotel and the rest to 21st Floor is a serviced apartment which consists of 260 rooms. With a 40 square meters with one bedroom unit, the monthly rent is NT$60,000 which is around HK$16,000. The rent includes breakfast and room cleaning twice a week.


CIHAPB also visited The LOHAS Smart Care Center which is managed with IT and customer services in order to provide day care services to the elderly in the community. Day care is opened from 7:30am to 5:30pm. They provide services to elderlies who are mental retardation and healthy. The centre has 4 rooms to provide temporary accommodation services. The centre has 20 employees and another 20 employees provide services to those elderlies are not in the centre. Elderly service is important to the aging community and the management model can give inspiration to the members after visit.
