Insight on Tree Management from the Damage of Typhoon Mangkhut
Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch and Department of Public Policy of City University of Hong Kong had jointly organized a seminar which was delivered by Chiky C.Y. Wong who is the Immediate Past President of International Society of Arboriculture Hong Kong Chapter.
In the seminar, Mr. Wong reviewed the impact of Typhoon Mangkhut in Hong Kong, showed the pictures to demonstrate various levels of tree damage after the typhoon, shared the handling procedure of broken trees after the typhoon, and presented the preventive measures before the typhoon. Our members well received the rich contents of tree work in the event. It was recorded that about 100 participants attended the talk.
