Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch organized a webinar which was delivered by representatives of the Equal Opportunities Commission, including Dr. Ferrick Chu, Executive Director (Operations), Ms. Yvonne Tsui, Acting Director (Policy, Research and Training), Ms. Sandy Lung, Senior Training Officer, and Mr. Raymond Ho, Senior Equal Opportunities Officer (Ethnic Minorities Unit). During the webinar, the speakers not only introduced the anti-discrimination legislation in Hong Kong, the concept of vicarious liability, examples of discriminatory acts and accessible design, but also mentioned the recent amendments to the legislation, examples of breastfeeding facilities, and racial perspectives in housing and property management. It was recorded that 214 participants attended the webinar.
