On 2nd and 3rd February 2023, the Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch (APB) received a delegation from the Housing and Construction Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality to conduct research in Hong Kong. Over the two-day itinerary, APB arranged for the delegation to visit the Two IFC, a commercial complex managed by MTR Corporation and the Joyous Circle, a renowned elderly facility managed by the Hong Kong Housing Society. APB also joined with the delegation to participate in a symposium with the Property Management Services Authority (PMSA) on the operation of the property management (PM) industry, and co-operation and integration of the industry within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

Chairperson of the PMSA Dr James WONG expressed during the symposium that Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao together have established the Guangdong Property and Facilities Management Association of the Greater Bay Area to actively promote exchanges and co-operation among the PM industry in the GBA. The PM market in Shenzhen is fast-growing and the visit of the delegation of the Housing and Construction Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality to Hong Kong has demonstrated and strengthened the co-operation and integration of the PM industry within the GBA.

APB is honored to have welcomed the Housing and Construction Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality for their visit. APB looks forward to visiting the Housing and Construction Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality in the near future to further promote exchanges and collaboration in the property management industry between the two regions.
