The newly elected Executive Committee of the Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch (CIHAPB), led by Chairman Romulus Wong, paid a visit to the Property Management Services Authority (PMSA) on 1 March, 2023, where they were welcomed by General Manager Diana Pang and Senior Manager Winnie Lau. During the meeting, CIHAPB discussed the progress of applications for licensed property management companies and practitioners, and how could the PMSA increase the number of licensed companies and practitioners. After the meeting, CIHAPB was informed that the market has enough licensed practitioners to meet the current demand, but the PMSA is still actively communicating with property management companies to resolve any issues that may arise during the licensing process to expedite it. The PMSA also reminded all that the transitional period will come to an end on 31 July, 2023, and those without relevant licences will be prosecuted for acting on relevant property management services thereafter.
