Event Details: ESG, Proptech and Climate Resilience in Real Estate & Property Management

The impacts of climate change are increasingly being felt across the globe, with extreme weather events, sea level rise, and temperature increases posing significant risks to real estate assets. As a result, building climate resilience has become a critical priority for property owners, investors, and managers. Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch organized a webinar which was delivered by Dr. William Yu, Founder and CEO of World Green Organization. In the webinar, Dr. Yu explored strategies and best practices for building climate resilience in real estate, including the use of green infrastructure, climate risk modeling, and ESG considerations in property management. Also, Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) framework and the growing trend towards net zero buildings and proptech applications were presented. It was recorded that 188 participants attended the webinar.
