Event Details: The latest Artificial Intelligence (AI) and IoT applications in chiller plant control system and in property buildings

To combat climate change, the Hong Kong Government unveiled the Energy Saving Plan for the Built Environment 2015-2025, which sets a new target of reducing Hong Kong's energy intensity by 40% by 2025. To achieve this, energy saving in commercial buildings is key, given that they consume 90% of Hong Kong's electricity. Air conditioning and lighting together account for about 50% of electricity use in commercial buildings. Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch organized a webinar which was delivered by Ir Stanley Lam, Senior Project Manager, Energy Management of CLPe Solutions Limited. In the webinar, Ir Lam shared the latest energy management solutions that adopt Artificial Intelligence and IoT technologies. In particular, AI-based chiller optimization, which can automate chiller plant operation and optimize energy consumption was presented. It was recorded that 226 participants attended the webinar.
