| Inauguration of Master of Housing Studies, City University of Hong Kong |

Mr Ricky Yuen, Chairman of CIHAPB was invited to officiate the inauguration of the Master of Housing Studies offered by the Department of Public and Social Administration of City University of Hong Kong held on 15 November 2006. The programme was accredited by CIH in 2005 and Training Officer of the Branch Mr P L Chiu also sits on their Programme Committee. The Chairman, in his speech, praised the close connection between the Branch and City University and would like to see such co-operation continue to flourish. The inauguration was well attended by key figures of CIHAPB, Hong Kong Institute of Housing and other professional bodies as well as staff, students and graduates of City University. Professor Martin Painter, Acting Dean of Humanity and Social Sciences of CityU and Mr. Cliff Wong, President of Hong Kong Institute of Housing were the other officiating guests of the ceremony.

| Annual Dinner of Property Management Business Association Macao |

CIHAPB was invited by the Property Management Business Association Macao (PMBAM) to attend its 21st Anniversary ceremony and annual dinner in Hotel Beverly Plaza, Macau on 17 November 06 evening. The ceremony was officiated by Dr Chiang Coc-meng, President of Macao Housing Bureau, Mr. Lau ia-leung, President of PMBAM, and other distinguished guests. After the opening ceremony, PMBAM held its 11th council members inauguration. Thereafter, the Property Management Professional Association of Macau held its first council member inauguration. The Asian Pacific Branch was appointed by PMBAM as its “Honorary Academic Advisor” to assist the training of property management professional in Macau and was presented with the Certificate of Appointment in the ceremony.

"中國物業管理師"制度已經開始實施，對於中國物業管理行業專業規範化有深遠影響，香港同業對此制度非常關注。有見及此，香港物業管理公司協會、香港房屋經理學會、英國特許房屋經理學會亞太分會及香港地產行政學會四會擬於2007年1月4日邀請中國物業管理協會顧問委員會主任委員暨深圳物業管理進修學院院長李加林先生聯同代表團到香港進行交流說明會，詳細解述"中國物業管理師"制度的推行情況及中國物業管理的前瞻。
